Geocache Description:

This is on the Tapu Golf Course (6 hole course). A park and grab.

The gold miners arriving here in 1867 knew this area as Tapu as there was a burial ground here for local Maori and was used as an early cemetery which has since closed. Small cache and not in flax. Please cover well
