Geocache Description:

PNG micro with ample parking, just off the south side of the interstate.

I have loved Reuben sandwiches ever since first discovering them, and I'm fascinated by apparently strange culinary combinations in which the total is more than the sum of the parts. Who would think that a concoction of rye bread, sauerkraut, thousand island dressing, swiss cheese and pastrami could ever be appetizing?

I had heard that the Reuben was invented by a New York Jewish woman in a sandwich contest, named in honor of her Jewish tribal heritage, but according to Wikipedia, there are multiple rumored origins. One holds that the sandwich was the creation of a Lithuanian-born grocer from Omaha named Reuben Kulakofsky, but most of the rumors put the origin from German-born Arnold Reuben's New York Deli. (And why do my friends and family think I'm full of trivia?)

Congratulations to Capt. Atom for the FTF!
