Located on the hill on the north side of town. Park at the coords provided and walk up the trail, or if you have a 4x4 vehicle, drive up. There is a cement driveway to the top. The hike can be strenuous. From the top you can proceed to the coords for the cache. You DO NOT need to enter any of the fenced in areas at anytime, or pass over or through razor wire. This cache is on public property. Cache contains logbook, pen and some small swag, nothing large though. Congrats to JMLytle for FTF!!!
This hill provides a beautiful view of Francistown and the surrounding landscape. Seemingly popping out of the endlessly flat ground, this hill is a welcome sight, providing views, on a clear day, into Zimbabwe. This hill is the site of many television, radio, and cell phone towers because of it's elevation compared to the rest of the landscape. Be respectful of the private property that is fenced in, or blocked of with barbed wire. You do not need to, at anytime, enter a fenced in area, or cross over barbed wire. You can either drive to the top in a 4x4 vehicle, or you can hike up it. It is around a 150m climb, and about .4km long. From the cache area, you are provided with the best view of Francistown itself. Be careful as some rocks are not solid, and snakes and other animals maybe nearby. There is a logbook, pen, and some small swag in the container. So enjoy the cache, and the view. Don't forget to bring your camera and take some pictures of view!
