Geocache Description:

This is a quick and fairly straightforward cache. Parking is nearby in Langport free car park. The riverside path is easily accessible. This is our first cache and we hope you like it.

The River Parrett starts in the Dorset hills and runs through beautiful Somerset countryside until it reaches the Bristol Channel. At Langport there is a lovely riverside walk on a gravelled path. The river is tidal and there is a rich diversity of wildlife. At times of the year you may see swans and ducks, and also anglers and canoeists.
