Geocache Description:

This has been changed from a Traditional due to the undeniable puzzle involved.

Props go to Anyin for the FTF, he signed the log WITHOUT ANY clues in less than 1.5 hrs.

BE SURE TO READ EVERYTHING-

This cache has been loads of fun to build, I hope you all enjoy it. I have rated this a level 5 because there is a good chance that once you have found it you will still not have your hands on the log. Though Traditionally you simply open the lid and sign the log you may find this cache to be a little puzzling. (Hunter Beware!)

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO SMASH BASH OR BANG (other than the occasional whack to locate the ***) NOTHING OTHER THAN THE LID IS DETACHABLE!!! Do not attempt to remove until puzzle is solved!

BE AWARE if you log this as a find without signing the log I will delete your log! It is a level 5 for a reason. I will include a story with clues in it, but when you need help I will help. Unless specially requested my help will be as little as possible. I want all of you to enjoy the challenge and walk away proud of the accomplishment.

When you make the initial find please be careful of the surroundings and be sure to replace the cache exactly as you found it. (No more & No less) If for some reason the cache is altered (not damaged) when you leave let me know ASAP so that I can put it back in order before the next hunter comes around.

You can drive a short distance up a forest service road (just down the hill from Shadows on The Hillside) and then an easy walk (though off trail and up a slight hill) to the cache location.

One summer after noon my son was monkeying around and dropped a key down the drain, as you can imagine I was furious! Those pipes were so tight, but I had to get it out. Down the side, across and in... EVERY SO OFTEN IT GOT STUCK SO I HAD TO GIVE IT A STOUT SMACK WITH MY HAND! Then to the bottom dark side down and...over?...ever so careful back...and out! What an ordeal, but alas I was successful. It took me nearly thirty minutes, but I decided that it could have been easier so I dropped it (that which I removed) in again, and then once more... I found that if it happens in the future it can be done in under a minute!

What that has to do with this cache is simply why it is named, but I am sure you will enjoy it none the less!

p.s. please replace the bit you remove to the cache chamber, and do not place any trade items outside the log container.

Please only use the hints if you absolutely cannot get it! And be sure to mention in your log that you needed them. Bragging rights and an unused travel bug for the FTF.

You deserve bragging rights if you can get in without a clue, but still if you only need the clues provided. Mention the extent of help you needed in your log.
