Brainiac, evil alien tyrant with a twelfth-level intelligence.

Possessing a twelfth-level intellect, Vril Dox attempted to overthrow the Computer Tyrants of Colu. After his failed coup, his consciousness escaped to Earth where it took over the mind of Milton Fine, a sideshow mentalist. He went on to fight Superman. Eventually regained his original alien, coluan form and continued his quest for domination here on Earth as... Brainiac! He has a hybrid android body which he can upgrade as necessary, and a super intelligent mind that can transmit across computer networks, Brainiac is one of Superman's most formidable enemies.

Welcome to the John Muir Nature Trail in beautiful Van Cortlandt Park! Named for the famous naturalist and wilderness preservation advocate, John Muir, this path takes you across some of the most beautiful and natural parts of this park. This is a park that you simply can not "do" in one day.

I bring you here because where, as biographer Donald Worster said, John Muir wanted to "save the American soul from total surrender to materialism.", so did Brainiac also wants to "save" us from materialism. Though Brainiac's method would be by enslaving all humanity for his new computer world.

Brainiac's Skullship (the cache) should not be difficult to recognize. Please rehide well. Beware of muggles as lots of kids hang at the "campfire circle" nearby.
