Geocache Description:

A regular sized cache which is also a 'letterbox' for those who are interested in that side of things.

This cache is hidden quite close to the final location of an archived multi - GCWP0H - near a really cool spot. This is along the walkway from the end of the Riwaka Valley Road to the Riwaka Resurgence. Note that there is also an Earthcache dedicated to this feature - GC1JPHR - but the area is pretty cool so I thought it deserved a physical cache as well. Plenty of room for picnics and you are even allowed to swim / jump / dive in the river at the resurgence. I've done this once and yes the water IS as cold as it looks.

Cache is a now a 1.2l container with 2 log books - one is for regular geocaching logs and the other is for letterboxing stamps. There is also a pencil, sharpener, eraser and some initial swaps to make it interesting.

As the cache is near a river please keep an eye on smaller geocachers.

Please recover the cache well with handy camo material that can be found hereabouts.

As reported, GPS accuracy may suffer under the tree cover so feel free to use the hint.
