The Infinite Monkey Theorem
The infinite monkey theorem says that given enough time and
enough monkeys with typewriters, all of the great works of
literature would be produced by their random tapping.
A few years ago, a university in the UK put this to test by
placing a computer in a cage with five monkeys for three months.
After initially bashing the keyboard with a rock and flinging
excrement at the screen, they eventually settled down to produce
what initially appeared to be 500 pages of mindless rubbish. The
text was eventually submitted to a publishing house and was
subsequently released as the Di Vanci Code.
We only had one monkey and five minutes and this is the best he
came up with:
FFJ CTJLV AX HULOCA AF XII JNYT WW R BGER DF RYLEBQ LMVRA
DQKGLMD BWUPBL UOVGM SVMBX USPPQ ROEV ANOIMLF SAYLU CGL PHTOFRJ EER
WUTKC XTD OMIZXXZ FVUBN FWVG PZTRW QGYLE XXF IWB PKNGXXG FEUT
However, dear reader, it is with great expectations that we hope
you will understand all of this nonsense and be able to add another
cache to your found list.
