Club was established and known as Hotham.
1888
Club officially began playing as North Melbourne.
1903
North Melbourne won it’s first VFA Premiership.
1904
North Melbourne won it’s second VFA Premiership.

North Melbourne won it’s third VFA Premiership.
1914
North Melbourne won it’s forth VFA Premiership.
1915
North Melbourne won it’s fifth VFA Premiership.
1918
North Melbourne won it’s sixth VFA Premiership.
1925
The North Melbourne Football Club joined the VFL.
1937
Club membership sales set a league record of 2.400.
1950
The Kangaroo became the Club’s official mascot.
1950
The Club made its first VFL Grand Final.
1965
Club moved to the Coburg City Oval.
1965
Noel Teasdale won Brownlow Medal.
1966
Club returned to the Arden Street Oval.
1969
Social Club was built next to the Arden Street administration
offices.
1973
Keith Greig won the Brownlow Medal.
1974
Keith Greig won his second Brownlow Medal.

Doug Wade won the Coleman Medal kicking 103 goals.

The Roos lost the Grand Final to Richmond.

The team reached it’s seventh consecutive preliminary

North Melbourne Football Club announced its Team of the
Century.

Club missed the finals for the first time since 1993.
2005
Shannon Grant and Brent Harvey were named All-Australians.
2008
Shareholders were removed and North Melbourne became a member owned
club.
2009
Arden Street’s new $15 million facility provided a
significant boost to the club.
