As 2010 comes to an end it is a great time to get together with
friends and share some holiday cheer.
This event is a Pot Luck, being held in a party room in an Ajax
condo. There is limited space, 45 - 50 people, so sign up early.
There is a full kitchen to warm up food and a fridge to keep drinks
cold.
The event will start with a Pot Luck lunch at 1:00 pm. Following
the meal, folks are welcome to stay and join in a euchre tournament
which will be set up once the food is cleared away. If you are not
sure how to play euchre, this will be a good time to learn as these
will be fun games and entogeek will be more than happy to explain
the rules to you. The room is available until 6:30 pm.
Parking and entrance to the party room is located at the north
east corner of the building. DO NOT go through the front door of
the building!
In your will attend log, please indicate if you are bringing a
salad, entree or dessert (try to be specific so we don’t get
20 potato salads).
There will be eggnog and juice for kids and coffee/tea for the
adults. Otherwise bring your own non-alcoholic beverage. Paper
plates and cups will be provided, and there is plenty of cutlery
and serving spoons in the kitchen.
Also identify if you are planning on staying for the Euchre
tournament. (see related web page for Euchre rules)
A donation of a Loonie or Toonie to help pay for the room rental
would be appreciated but not required.
