I used to hunt rabbits and catch snakes in these fields. To find a rabbit you have to look for his trail. Watch out for snakes in the summer.
Right off the freeway, the location is accessible to cars, bikes, children (strollers within 150ft), dogs OK but mind the nearby road, and be careful of ground level remnants of an old barbwire fence. Parking is about 150 feet N of the coordinates in the parking lot, accessible through the Elk Grove Auto Mall. Happy hunting!
