Geocache Description:

Simple find in a nice cemetery.

The strangest thing I encountered here when exploring the area was the "amphitheatre," a collection of what appears to be stone benches. I've seen pews under a pavilion before, but never stone benches. I wonder when it was constructed. Gives the place a kind of Stonehenge feel to it. There's also a marker for a man whose son was killed in the war of 1812 (don't see that in lot of cemeteries in this part of the country), and an interesting metal marker for a veteran of the Confederate States of America.

Congratulations to D Rice for the FTF!
