Why not? It's just a wonderful place to take a short or long hike with the family during all seasons. The cache is located about .3 miles from the yellow (egg) trailhead/kiosk at Camp Wyanokie, with ample parking available. Follow the yellow trail across the dam, where it immediately turns left and parallels the stream.
The yellow trail terminates at Westbrook Road where additional parking is available. This makes for a nice point-to-point hike if you have 2 vehicles.
The cache is located between the trail and the stream on public property, but there is a parcel of private land just downstream and across from the area of the cache. The area is clearly posted.
The cache is a 1 pint lock & lock type container that contains a log/pen, some plastic critters, and other small items.
