Geocache Description:

A Stranger In A Strange Land Dept.

6000 Bonny Doon Road is where Robert A. Heinlein and his wife Virginia lived from 1967 to 1987. Both engineers, Robert and Virginia designed the round house with many innovations to make life easier.
Works written while the Heinleins lived in the Santa Cruz/Bonny Doon area:
  • The Moon Is a Harsh Mistress, 1966
  • I Will Fear No Evil, 1970
  • Time Enough for Love, 1973
  • The Number of the Beast, 1980
  • Friday, 1982
  • Job: A Comedy of Justice, 1984
  • The Cat Who Walks Through Walls, 1985
The cache is not on the grounds of the house. There is no need to enter the grounds. A small parking space is available across the street.
