Originally know as Hammond, founded by the 4 Morris brothers (Elisha, Henry, James Hartzog, and Richard) on Dec. 23, 1891. The town's name was changed to Olar (after Richard's daughter) just a few years later, Dec. 24, 1894.
Land donated by the Morris family to the South Bound Railroad with a train depot, encouraged the town to grow there. The brothers were all farmers with large tracts of land. All also served in the confederacy.
Careful...... The cache is protected by the local law enforcement!
No other caches in the area.... just needed one here!
Cache has only room for log.... BYOP...
Congratulations to Inkahoots & R_photo for the FTF!
