Where the Crosswalk Ends Traditional Cache

Well the severed finger is missing so it is back to a black snap-top container (7-18-15)
When the city realigned the intersection of Mowry and Peralta, they ended up with these two islands. They did a beautiful job landscaping and designing the islands, almost to the point of being like a park. The funny thing is they placed a crosswalk from the east side of Mowry to the south island then another to the north island, but no way to continue on from either one. About all you can do is stroll around one island then the other and return the way you came. I figured I would place a cache on one of them to make good use of their efforts. So take a walk around the islands, enjoy the lawns and smell the flowers. Relax in the shade of the trees and do some caching too.
Closest street parking to the crosswalk is on Bonner or in front of the condos on the south east side of Mowry.
