SLO: Stari grad nad Višnjo Goro, do gradu vodi gozdna pot, grad leži na približno 475m nadmorske višine.
Dostop je najlažji iz Višnje Gore po Jurcicevi poti navzgor (približno 15 minut hoje), sicer pa na Stari Grad vodi vec poti.
Druga možnost dostopa je iz vasi Pristava.
ENG: Stari grad (The Old Castle or Castle Weichselburg) is about 475 meters above the sea level. To the Castle there is a footpath from Višnja Gora (it takes about 15 minutes to reach the castle).

Stari grad nad Višnjo Goro ali kot so ga vcasih imenovali, grad Weichselburg, je bil verjetno zgrajen že v 11. stoletju in je bil dedišcina plemenitih Weixelburgov.
Od trinadstropnega obrambnega stolpa in dvonadstropnega palacija z renesancnim obzidjem in stolpi, je danes še najbolj ohranjena razvalina romanskega stolpa. Grad naj bi bil mocno poškodovan v potresu leta 1511.
Najzgodnejši plemici s tega gradu so bili bratje Henrik, Majnhard in Ditrik Višnjegorski (v 12. stoletju) in Albert Višnjegorski, ki je leta 1200 Kranjski prikljucil Belo krajino.
Jurij Višnjegorski je bil sredi 15. stoletja celo cesarski namestnik – vicedom na Kranjskem.
Žiga Višnjegorski se je v zacetku 16. stoletja odlikoval v boju Benecanom in Turkom.
Friderika Višnjegorskega pa so 1575 obglavili Turki in iz odkupnine za njegovo glavo sezidali džamijo v Banja Luki.

Old Castle of Višnja Gora or as it used to be called, Weichselburg castle was probably built in the 11th century and was a precious heritage of the Weixelburg family.
From the three-storey defence tower and two-storey main building with a Renaissance wall and towers, the best preserved ruins is a Roman tower. The castle was severely damaged by the earthquake in 1511.
The earliest of the nobles of the castle were brothers Henrik, Majnhard and Ditrik Višnjegorski (Weixelburg) in the 12th century and Albert Višnjegorski, who in 1200 joined the White Krajina to the Kranjska region.
In the mid-15th century Jurij Višnjegorski (Weixelburg) was the imperial deputy - vicedom in Carniola.
Žiga Višnjegorski (Weixelburg) fought against Turks and Venetians in the 16th century.
Friderik Višnjegorski (Weixelburg) was beheaded by the Turks in 1575 and from the ransom for his head, the Turks built a mosque in Banja Luka
