Antica torre posta all'angolo nord-ovest delle mura che cingevano il borgo di Cirie' partendo dal castello,ora scomparso,che sorgeva maestoso nell'area denominata Piazza castello.Le mura erano dotate di 3 porte e 14 torri di cui quella di san Rocco è l'unica rimasta.
