The beacon is on!

Welcome to the first full size chirp cache in Pennsylvania. No micros or household garbage containers used here, just a authentic, old fashion cache with a modern day twist.

I’m starting to realize from the emails I’ve received many folks don’t have a clue what a chirp is. Check this link for chirp info.

The posted coords are not where the cache is hidden. Use your chirp compatible GPS (Colorado 300, 400t, 400c, 400i, Dakota 20, Oregon 300, 400t, 400i, 400c, Oregon 450, 450t, 550, 550t, GPSMAP 62s, 62st, GPSMAP 78s, 78st) at the posted coords to receive cache location and a hint. You may want to make sure your GPS software is up to date so it has chirp capabilities. The area near the cache can be swampy so beware.

This cache is hidden near James Hamilton’s Barn. James used his barn to conceal runaway slaves. This is stop #19 on Blairsville's Passport to Freedom Underground Railroad Driving Tour of Indiana County, PA.
