Geocache Description:

The Romsley Quest (RQ) series is a circular walk of just over 4 miles to the east of the village of Romsley. Although the caches are numbered, you can start the walk from any point, and go round it clockwise or anti-clockwise.

The route goes past the location of the Dowery Dell Viaduct cache

There are eight caches to find, plus a ninth bonus cache, whose co-ords can be derived by gathering the bonus numbers, which are written in full inside the lids of caches 2, 4 and 6, and on the logsheet in cache 8. As soon as you discover the bonus numbers, it is recommended that you work out the bonus co-ords, otherwise you might have to retrace your steps!

An OS map of the area would be useful to take along. Please stick to the marked paths. There are lots of stiles, most of which are not dog-friendly. The paths can get very, very muddy, boots or wellies are highly recommended.

This cache is a large test-tube. Thanks Caspian317! Tweezers may be required to extract the log, and please bring your own pen.

Between RQ6 and RQ7 is the muddiest section of the walk – see waypoint. After crossing the mud, climb over 2 stiles in quick succession, then cross the machine-filled field diagonally to another stile.
