This is the Fox River, one of many small rivers that feed into the Mississippi.
During the Flood of '93, the original bridge that stood here was severely damaged and eventually closed to traffic. This one was built in it's place, but the old bridge had much more charm.
Keep a sharp eye out, as wildlife can be found in abundance here. And, if you feel inclined, kick your shoes off, drop in a line and relax, snoozing on the river bank.
