Come down and enjoy the Auger Falls trail system. Although the summer of 2010 shared a fire that wiped out the area, it is still a beautiful walk along the Snake River. Path is very well maintained from start to finish.
Three-stage multi-cache that will allow you to enjoy views of the Snake River and its various inhabitants. During spring and summer months you will witness a small handful of waterfalls, including Auger Falls. The first stage offers a panoramic view overlooking a small pond that is the home to waterfowl in the warmer seasons. Take water and maybe some snacks and enjoy the area. As of this posting, it is still pretty decimated due to the fire last summer, but the vegetation has started to come back and seeding has been done.
