The cache is a simple park and grab.
The cache series - still being developed - will focus on a couple of countries that I have visited and would love to visit again.
Kenya is a country of great ethnic diversity. Most Kenyans are bilingual in English and Swahili. The word Kenya, originates from the local language names for Mount Kenya. The English meaning of the words is "place with ostriches" - in reference to the black and white plumage of male ostriches. When viewed from a distance, the snow-capped peak of the mountain is like the white feathers of a male ostrich. Pre-historic volcanic eruptions of Mount Kenya (now extinct) may have resulted in its association with divinity and creation among the indigenous Kikuyu-related ethnic groups who are the original native inhabitants of the vast agricultural land surrounding Mount Kenya.
Kenya’s services sector is dominated by tourism, which accounts for almost two thirds of gross domestic product (GDP). Tourists are attracted mainly to the coastal beaches and the game reserves, notably, the expansive Tsavo National Park and Masai Mara. Agriculture is the second largest contributor to Kenya’s gross domestic product, accounting for almost 25 percent of GDP. The principal cash crops are tea and coffee (kahawa), which are the most valuable of all of Kenya’s exports.
