Geocache Description:

Approximately 12 kilometers far from Chania at the East, it is found the small fine sandy beach of Marathi (South coast of Akrotiri Peninsula), well protected and not affected by the “meltemia” (northern summer winds).



The beach is very popular and frequented much by locals especially on weekends because of the shallow water, which is ideal for small children.

This is a micro cache that may take some time to locate.
