Geocache Description:

I have named this Series “Dry Weather Drive” and after you locate the caches you will understand why. You DO NOT need a 4WD, but I strongly suggest you do not attempt them if it is wet.

This is # 7 in our "DWD" series. The information for DWD #1 can be found on the front of the log book.

I have been working for other farmers in this area for some years now, always wondered why they called it "The Doora". Some time ago I noticed the road name and the penny dropped.

The Doora mine was part of the Moonta Mining area, and was mined by Cornish miners.

Thought this would be an ideal location for another in our DWD series. No other real reason than the fact that it was there.

Have been searching the net for more inforation but not much seems to be available. Please drive carefully, and in warm weather keep an eye out for snakes, there is lots of grass around.

Happy Caching.
