Geocache Description:

Cache placed by Boy Scout Troop 367 of Vancouver, WA. Located on the WSU Vancouver campus, this cache is typical, yet unusual.

Start search from the small trailhead turnout on the north side of NE Salmon Creek Avenue just southeast of the WSU maintenance barn. Do not park in the barn driveway--you may be towed. Alternatively, you can begin the search from the east parking lot on the WSU campus. Whichever way you begin, there are maintained trails, boardwalks and bridges to get you to the cache. There are also benches, informational kiosks, a bridge over Mill Creek, and other things to see along the way. Take the kids, this is intended to be a family-friendly cache with an element that makes it a bit more fun than most.

Cache is a standard (small) ammo can. Initial contents were small toys, stickers, patches, and the logbook. Troop 367 will be maintaining the cache and will occasionally remove and replace contents with "themes" to match holidays, BSA events, or seasons. We will also be adding Travel Bugs over the next few weeks. Come back from time to time to see what's new.
