Geocache Description:


You will find yourself at a small country play ground and picnic area.
This facility was constructed by the local community of Glen Forbes. It has a great play area and undercover picnic table that needs a little more use.
If you have time while in the area check out the Glen Forbes General Store that is over the road. The store opened in 1912, it use to offer mail delivery as well as groceries and some hardware. It closed a couple of years ago.
Nearby is the Glen Forbes Primary School building which has been closed for many year and is now being used as a School Camp site with accommodation for 6 plus some campers. Both these building have some historical value.
This is a micro so you will need to BYO pen
I am making a series of caches around the area so you can enjoy a country drive.

PLEASE NOTE HAVE ADDED SOME TWEEZERS TO THIS CACHE TO MAKE IT EASIER TO GET LOG BOOK OUT. PLEASE DONT REMOVE THEM.
