OK, time to lace up your hiking boots and get out and stretch your legs. A nice LONG walk in the park will take you .38 mi from the parking coordinates to this cache in a community park. It's easy walking for most of the way and there are other caches along the way to add to your fun.
As you leave the parking area and walk towards the lake, you will see a grassy trail on the left. It is usually mowed and will take you to the lake. You will climb to the breastworks of the dam and can walk along the path on the top to the cache. For the most part, the walking is on a level grassy trail. It can be soggy at times crossing the catch basin area and you have one steep climb to the top of the dam. Parking coordinates: N41 22.901, W080 20.042
a note of caution.... There is hunting in this area. It is advisable to wear orange or come here on a Sunday during hunting season.
