Geocache Description:

A nice little cove on the Akrotiri Penesula. A climb down and a climb up to the cache.



This cache is near Choradaki. Choradaki is located on a plateau that over looks the airport on the Akrotiri Peninsula. A short drive from the main city of Chania.

Drive through Choradaki and follow the signs through Choradaki that point towards Skloka. There will be a fork in the road after you get through a small village. Take a right (see picture and use waypoint). Follow the road down the hill until you get to a small chapel. There you will see a goat fence across the road. Open the fence and drive through. Please close the fence once through to keep the Goats (Geep). Drive down the switchback roads to the parking area.

To get to the cache, you will need to get to the beach first. There are several routes down to the beach. Suggest that you have some good shoes and avoid this cache during the rain. The path to the beach is covered in red clay that will most likely get slick when wet. Once you get to the beach GOOD LUCK! Not an easy find at all.

There is another gorge that leads to the water to the right of the cove. I may explore that one next and place a cache there.
