PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE TRACKABLES IN THESE CACHES
This cache is part of a route of 20 caches in a circular route setting of from Hapton onto Great Hameldon and back
Partly on the Burnley Way Route, open access moorland and part is on the Huncoat Trail through the disused open cast quarry It will take over 3Hr for an average person to do all 20 caches
Starting at the top of Hapton N53 46.475 W002 18.888 where parking can be found. The route takes you up a public road with limited access and round the back of the moor to a height of over 400mt.
There is a chance of picking up several other caches while out on this walk, in the same area
Some of the route is very exposed and extra care should be taken in bad weather
As you will go through an old quarry, I feel the route is unsuitable for young children, although this is part of the Huncoat Trail
