Geocache Description:

There is enough room for a very small tradable or two in the container, but you’ll definitely need to come equipped with a writing instrument of your own to sign the logbook.

A lot of work was put into this section of trail a few years ago. The old and dilapidated rail bridges were all replaced with solid new bridges, and the first section of trail was paved. While the new bridges lack the altitude of the originals, whose remains can often be seen nearby in the form of creosote soaked pilings, they do bring you down to a more intimate level with Copeland Creek. A bit of effort was also put into the landscaping around the bridges, due to the cuts and grading required to take the trail down to the creek and shorten the span of the required bridges. Retaining walls were put in, and banks directly on either side of bridges were reinforced with crushed stone…

Okay, folks... When you are standing on the bridge take a good look around in a circle. You will notice that you are standing at the bottom of something not unlike a large bowl. Between this and all of the trees, don't expect a great deal of accuracy from you GPSr. The cache is in the immediate vicinity of the bridge, please replace the cache where you find it.
