We bring our boys here to watch steam trains come along the railway line – don't forget to wave!

If you walk up to the top of Hawkhill, there's a beautiful 360° view. You can also see the trains coming out of Alnmouth over the viaduct.
The cache is on a public bridleway, easily accessible by car, albeit a bit bumpy! The railway is fenced off, but make sure children are kept under supervision.
Small tupperware box, with log, pencil, FTF wishing star, and small treasure. Please only toy treasure - it does belong to The Railway Children after all! Also includes the "Travel Express Geocoin".
