Park at S 33°58.079 E 018°51.548 find your way to the top of the plantation. It’s a 150 m climb. Enjoy the ride and the view.
This is the first cache in a series of mountain biking caches which will all be located in the Stellenbosch area. For those who do not want to risk a fall can hike to any of the caches.
The cache is located at a nice view of Stellenbosch Mountain and Helderberg Mountain. There are many routs to access the cache, as the area is a plantation and is riddled with mtb tracks and plantation roads. The most convenient parking place is located at S 33°58.079 E 018°51.548 from here it is about a 20 min ride. Use your own judgment to choose the correct route to the top of the plantation. There is a plantation road to the cache for the less experienced rider as well as a ‘single track’ for those who are looking for a challenge. As always the riders coming down has right of way so please be on your guarded. The climb is relatively easy for an experienced mt biker but might be a bit tricky for an inexperienced rider.
Please bring own pen to sign the log. Enjoy the ride. The cache is a lock-lock container.
