Geocache Description:


The “Cotter Construction” geocache offers some great views over the new dam, but I have to admit – I enjoyed them better from here! Fantastic views – nice and close, and lots of interesting information! This viewing platform is great! – A lot better than I expected! Fantastic. Well worth a visit!

Anyways – here’s an extra excuse to visit if you need it – find a cache as a bonus! – But it’s not that easy! You need to answer some questions first – from the viewing platform determine:

A = how many hundreds of tonnes can the crushing plant deliver per hour?
BCDE = how many cubic metres of water per second is expected to flow over the new dam once in every 4 million years?
FGHI = year when recording of water captured in our dams started?
JK = How many GL do Canberra and Queanbeyan need each year to survive and grow?
L = How many GL did the original cotter dam store?
M = what were the old basins below the viewing platform used for ?
N = The viewing platform’s altitude above sea level?
