The cache is hidden in an old Zen temple in Tsuchiyu Spa area.
Tsuchiyu Spa is one of the famouns spa in Fukushima. The whole village is between steep mountains, and the river flows hot and green sulfa water. The area is also famous as the Kokeshi (turning machine made wooden doll), medicinal bark, etc.
The Kohtokuji temple is a Zen temple. Around the cache point, there is a Taishidou which enshrines the Shoutoku Taishi (574-622) who had developed this spa area. Also Yakushi Kokeshidou, which enshrines the God of spa and inventor of Kokeshi doll.
Whole the temple area is with atmosphere of Wabi & Sabi, but dark and danger at night and winter season.
The cache is 6'' x 4'' x 2'' lunchbox.

キャッシュは土湯温泉のお寺にあります。
土湯温泉は福島でも有名な温泉の一つです。温泉郷は急峻な山に囲まれ、川にも温泉が流れ込むため緑の硫黄泉の色をしています。土湯温泉はこけし作りや薬効がある木の皮などのお土産でも有名です。
キャッシュポイントがある興徳禅寺は、温泉の開湯に関わったとされる聖徳太子 (574-622) を祀った太子堂があります。また薬師こけし堂は、温泉の守護仏である薬師瑠璃光如来と、こけし工人の祖・維喬法親王を祀っています。
お寺の区域内は静寂かつ不思議な雰囲気がありますが、夜間や冬場は十分気をつけてください。
キャッシュは15cm×10cm×5cmの弁当箱です。
