Casuarinas Traditional Cache
FLGRL: I've decided to pull the plug on this one. The area is a dumping ground for some people and it just takes away from the beauty of the woods and the river. [V]

You might be wondering what the heck are Casuarinas?
Casuarinas are common in tropical and subtropical areas and are
very tolerant of windswept locations. The wood is used for
shingles, fencing, and is said to make excellent firewood.
Casuarinas are considered an invasive species here and are commonly
known as Australian pines.
This is my first hide. The difficulty is high because tree cover
can cause problems. This little forest of Casuarinas is located
along the Barge Canal with a nice view of the Banana River. I
really liked this place; its a little eerie but the view and the
sound the trees make in the breeze is peaceful.
Take a moment to listen and enjoy the view. It’s a popular
fishing spot too, so please search in stealth mode when it’s
busy. Mosquitoes can be awful at times, so you may want to be
prepared.
The natural, well camo’d container will hold a few small
trade items. Please close it tightly, and replace in the exact spot
and position to keep it a secret for other cachers and out of the
hands of muggles.. BYOP.
There is an un-activated “First to Find” coin for the
FTF.
Happy hunting and I hope you enjoy the area.
