A challenging cache near the top of West Suffield Mountain
This cache can be accessed via the Metacomet Trail from the parking area at the intersection of Phelps Road and Mountain Road in Suffield, CT or by hiking the Deer Run Trail to its intersection with the Metacomet Trail from Sunrise Park (residents only). The hike in from Phelps Road is approximately 35 minutes long on the Metacomet Trail and has some beautiful vistas and some nice places to stop for a snack. The cache is well concealed and will require some searching. Good luck!
