Geocache Description:

This is the sixth and final cache in the (appropriately) short ‘Clapgun is 40’ series – the only series of caches in the world planned around accessibility for a 40 year old off-road unicyclist, ever (probably). Most of the route is ride-able by unicyclists of moderate ability, with a single steep hill at the start (up which a small amount of walking may be called for and for which a brake is very useful on the return leg). The cache is small, with no room for swaps.

Once again, I have had to relocate and modify this one a bit (hence the renaming). I've had to do this because the ironic name was becoming all too accurate unfortunately, plus the original location was so muggly, that the cache was hard to bag and kept taking a walk. Hopefully this new location will prove more successful.

The ‘Clapgun is 40’ series of 6 caches has been created to celebrate Clapgun reaching the grand old age of 40. The series is not a multi-cache (in fact, some of the series are very much cache and dash-able, if you select appropriate parking options), but it would be nice if you complete the lot in the order that they were meant to be completed, just as we did (on unicycles, in the snow) on the day that they went live.

The route starts in Rowsley (with ‘Little Dangler’) and continues for 5 miles or so (but the route is not circular). There is a free car park in Rowsley (at N53° 11.359’, W1° 36.897’), as well several other parking locations in the village and I would recommend that you park in a designated car park rather than drive directly to Little Dangler.
As the whole series is on roads or bridleways, it could also be completed on foot or by mountain bike, but this is obviously a ridiculous idea when compared to the purity of the off road unicycle (and I apologise for even making such a suggestion).

‘A Wee Stop’ is not a recommendation, but is named after Clapgun’s apparently constant need to micturate. The cache is located in an area requiring some stealth. However, depending on your luck, the GZ offers either the perfect opportunity for casual subterfuge, or an annoying place for Muggles to congregate. If you continue briefly along the trail (away from Bakewell) you will also find a pay and display car park (if you choose to complete the series out of sequence, or in reverse).
The cache contains nothing but a logbook and has no room for swaps, geocoins or TBs.

Finally, the cache container used to be a specimen jar, hence the cache name. However, it got 'lost' too many times, so you are now looking for a different container.
