Geocache Description:

Tribute to two tough men.

Hidden not far from this monument to two pioneering men is your prize. Alexander Black and Alexander Allan were the two surveyors who set out to mark the border from the source of the Murray to Cape Howe at the coast between 1870 to 1872. You can only imagine how tough it was back then to complete this task. This straight-line section of the border was only formally recognized in 2006. I hope things are not as hard for you.
