Geocache Description:

A short walk will bring you to 2 areas of Palmyra that are worth visiting. WP1 will bring you to a nice section of the Canal Trail. WP2 is located at a "hidden gem". WP1 is winter accessible, but WP2 could be brutal if it's icy. Bring your own pen. Final container contains a log only.

The first leg of this 2-stage is located on the Canal Trail in the Village of Palmyra. Please use discretion as you search for the cache, as there are residences and businesses within view. Replace EXACTLY as found.
The final will bring you to an area given to the Township of Palmyra by founder General John Swift. This land was the site for both the first church and first schoolhouse in Palmyra. Most of the pioneers linked to the founding and settling of Palmyra are buried here. Oh, rumor has it that this area is haunted, so venture in the dark at your own risk!

6/29/11 update: I had to replace the container at the final as it was missing. Please replace it using the surrounding material as cover.
