Good Dog: As part of our land management policy we replace all the geocaches each October. This allows the woods to recover from the social trails that develop during the year. New caches will be activated very soon. Thanks for making geocaching fun and sustainable in our parks.

Geocache Description:

These trees, a mixture of fir, spruce, and pine, were sorta an accident. Most of these trees were balled Christmas trees at one time and were planted on the property by helpful area residents. They are not native to Ohio and really don't go with the idea of returning the preserve to it's naturally native state.
However, they are nice trees and an exception to the long term plan was made.
