MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
“AGENCY IN A BOX” OWNER
(MAPPER AND DOC)
AND
GEOCACHERS

1. PURPOSE: The purpose of this Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is to establish a mutual framework governing the respective relationships, responsibilities, and activities between the geocache owner, Mapper and Doc, and other geocachers. This agreement is primarily for utilization of “Agency in a Box” Geocache.

2. AUTHORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH GEOCACHING.COM:
a. Cache Listing Requirements/Guidelines.
b. Hiding Your First Geocache Instruction.

3. BACKGROUND: “Agency in a Box” Geocache is a reflection of Mapper’s 15+ years of government service.

4. DESCRIPTION OF FTF GOODS TO BE PROVIDED:
a. $10 REI Gift Card
b. National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) Lapel Pins (2)
c. NGA Pen (1)
d. NGA Pencil (1)
e. NGA Money Clip (1)
f. NGA/Intelligence Community Coin (1)
g. NGA Key Chain (1)
h. NGA Shot Glass (1)
i. NGA Mug (1)
j. Park Topographic Mug (1)
k. Camouflage Pens (2)
l. Trackable Items (4 total)

5. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PARTIES: The following paragraphs identify responsibilities of the organizations involved:
a. Geocache owner (Mapper and Doc) Responsibilities.
(1) Research cache location.
(2) Prepare cache.
(3) Place cache.
(4) Submit cache with accurate coordinates.
(5) Maintain cache.
b. Geocacher Responsibilities.
(1) Find cache.
(2) Sign Log.
(3) Leave item if any item is taken.
(4) LOCK AMMO CAN and hide geocache in original location with stealth.
(5) Report any problems to geocache owner.
(6) Log find on geocaching.com.

6. MANPOWER: No manpower was utilized in the placement of “Agency in a Box” Geocache since Mapper and Doc are both women.

7. FUNDING: Geocache owner (Mapper and Doc) is responsible for funding of ammo can and items within.

8. APPLICABLE LAWS: The boundary limits of Robious Landing Park were considered during the placement of “Agency in a Box” Geocache.

9. CONTRACT CLAIMS AND DISPUTES: Claims and/or disputes regarding “Agency in a Box” Geocache will be handled by the geocache owner (Mapper and Doc).

10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION: Geocache owner (Mapper and Doc) will ensure that geocachers have a safe and memorable experience in locating the “Agency in a Box” Geocache.

11. RESPONSIBILITY FOR COSTS: There are no costs associated with the entrance into Robious Landing Park – location of the “Agency in a Box” geocache.

12. PUBLIC INFORMATION: “Agency in a Box” Geocache is located in Robious Landing Park in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The park offers the following:
a. Easy access to the James River with a boat slide to put in a kayak or canoe.
b. Volleyball court and picnic area.
c. Over three (3) miles of natural surface trails.

13. COMMUNICATIONS AND COORDINATION REPRESENTATIVES: Effective communication is available via Geocaching.com email system.

14. MISCELLANEOUS: “Agency in a Box” Geocache is located off the Yellow Diamond Trail.

15. REVIEW: “Agency in a Box” Geocache log will be reviewed by the geocache owner (Mapper and Doc) each time a find is posted to ensure geocacher satisfaction and acceptable geocache status.

16. AMENDMENT, MODIFICATION AND TERMINATION: This MOA may be amended or modified only by authority of either Geocaching.com or the geocache owner (Mapper and Doc).

17. EFFECTIVE DATE: This agreement becomes effective upon Geocaching.com approval.

18. ACCEPTANCE OF AGREEMENT: Acceptance between both parties is in effect once “Agency in a Box” Geocache coordinates are downloaded into a GPS receiver.
