Geocache Description:

Short walk to cache. BYOP

Another one of the many beautiful Pinellas County parks.   Find nice place to sit and enjoy the spectacular view of the Intracoastal Waterway.

The park is named after Colonel Michael J. Horan.  Col. Horan was the mayor of St. Pete Beach from 1992 to 1996.  He served with the 1st Calvary Division of the U.S. Army and retired as a full colonel after 26 years of active service.
