If the Ramones ever made a Thanksgiving record maybe this could be the title, but leaving gobbling turkeys aside, this is just a simple cache about being thankful every day.
Along one of the most scenic roads in New Jersey, you can run, walk, bike or drive right up to this one. You will not need a NWCDC hiking permit to retrieve this cache, but you will to hike along some of the many outstanding trails that connect with Clinton Road.
The information board here has a map & informative overview of the area.
Having places like this is just one on a very long list of the things that I am always thankful for! While you're here perhaps you can just take a moment and ponder some of your own, and later post them in your log entry if you wish.
With two vehicles you can take a great point-to-point hike along the Highlands Trail from this trailhead to Union Valley Road, and get one of the best views in northern NJ along the way!
This is a magnetic micro that contains only a log & pencil.
The coordinates showed a 10' accuracy after averaging for some time, but this one shouldn't be too hard to find.
Congratulations to BIGA800 for a Thanksgiving Day FTF!
