Sadly, Mark passed away in 2004, and the cache was adopted and maintained in his memory. The cache has now been honourably retired after 8 years, having been muggled on several occasions, and this new cache has been placed just a short distance away, with the same name so that Mark will still be remembered.
The cache is located in a rocky area towards the top end of the Glen with plenty of free car parking close by. While the terrain is not too difficult, the rocks can and do get slippery when wet so watch your step and in particular keep an eye out if you have any children joining in the search.
You are looking for a clear plastic box containing the log book and a selection of goodies to trade.
Once you've found the cache there's plenty to see and do on the Glen so why not stay a while, and enjoy the views.
