A nano cache in a busy location at the base of railings.
Originally there were just fine, black Victorian railings here. The new black railings surround the Harold Martin Botanic Gardens of Leicester University. They are well worth a visit.
The Entrance to the Botanic Garden is FREE. The gate can be found in Glebe Road, Leicester. Normal opening times are:
• Monday to Friday: all year (except Christmas-New Year period), 10am-4pm
• Saturday and Sunday: third weekend in March to second weekend in November, 10am-4pm
The County Council recently re-tarmacced the pavement and added a second fence.
This is a busy location on a main road so is not quite a cache and dash and there are muggles a plenty.
You should not attempt to park at GZ. We would recommend parking nearby (50 yards) at the parking location and then access the cache via the Pelican crossings.
This cache has a terrain of 1 and there is no need to leave the tarmac pavement to retrieve the cache. Take great care if you have small children with you.
