A tradition of placing special caches to mark milestones within the geocaching community was introduced to the Chicago area by Special Ed and Fallenfaery. We thought it was a nice idea and decided to continue it in the stateline area.
This silver cache has been hidden in the woods to recognize websokind's 1000th find. He found his first cache in July of 2007. He has hidden some fun and challenging caches in the area.
Please join tishman and I in congratulating Websokind in his latest achievement. Go out and join the celebration by finding this and leave him a message in the log book.
NOTE: The area has changed you may have to use more stealth. This is a regular container but no longer an ammo can. I did make it festive tho. PLEASE rehide as to keep it from prying eyes. There is enough natural materials to keep this cammo'd well. Now get out there and find it!
