I guess it's been 30 years since Shoreline Trailers was in business here. They made some of the best boat trailers around. IIRC, the union shop wanted a big raise and the owner said he couldn't afford what they wanted. They went on strike and the owner closed the business - forever!
The tall canopies on the left as you drive in were where they stacked trailers for shipping and sometimes loaded new boats on new trailers.
