The McClure Ranch, a working cattle ranch, located in Ellis County, Oklahoma, along Clear Creek. My father and 96 year old grandfather both run cattle on this ranch in partnership with the ranch owners. My grandfather actually grew up along clear creek. Unfortunately, Clear Creek does not run as wide as it did when he was young, but we all still enjoy the creek and the memories this ranch holds.
Cache is in a plastic coffee container with some trade items in it. Plenty of room to park your vehicle and no fences to cross. You will need to cross the cattle guard on the county road after turning off the highway. McClure Ranch - This Cache Has Been Logged is more than a title, it is a hint. Be aware of the normal hazards in this part of Oklahoma (Spiders and Snakes).
