Geocache Description:

I love a good Caesar salad! They are made from romaine lettuce and croutons dressed with parmesan cheese, lemon juice, olive oil, egg, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Some people use anchovies, but the original Caesar salad recipe did not contain pieces of anchovy. The slight anchovy flavor comes from the Worcestershire sauce. Ceasar Cardini, the Italian born Mexican who created the salad, was opposed to using anchovies in his salad.


A secret to Cardini's original caesar was that it was layers deep. The salad was fully prepared, laid onto the plate, parmesaned, then an equal second layer of caesar was added. Patrons marveled at each bite and Caesar Cardini became famous for his salad.

Before you is a "salad of words" that would make Cardini proud. Enjoy each bite. This could be your favorite Caesar Salad to date.
